So Long NieNie

Today I read NieNie for the first time.

I have been hearing about this blog for ages and just barely decided to take a look. I was surprised to find that NieNie feels like just another one of the girls. Maybe that's what makes her blog so popular, but for me it was just another reason to keep reading blogs from my amazing friends.

As a mother myself, I am in awe of all that mothers can do while still being amazing mothers. It's something I'm working toward and feel I haven't quite figured out. I ask myself frequently if I will ever figure it out. I only have one child and I'm not nearly as productive or amazing as moms I know with multiple children, like NieNie, but also like my sister-in-law and my freshman year college buddies, my cousins, and my own mom.

But I'm working on it.

And so, while NieNie is amazing, especially for enduring the things she's enduring, I think the people already in my life more than measure up.

And I'm sticking with them instead.
