New State, New Home...New Baby!

That's right. In the past 5 months we have moved to a new state, bought our first home, and we are now happy to be inviting a new baby into our lives. We recently found out we are expecting our second little one and we are just thrilled. I'm very early on in the pregnancy but all is going well and little bean seems to be growing well. I haven't been sick, which was expected as I wasn't sick with Connor, so I'm especially happy about that. Just very tired and hungry. We hope you are all happy and healthy this holiday season and we love you all!

Halloween 2010

This year I was super ambitious and decided to make all 3 of our costumes. I had good intentions of getting them done ahead of time and had all the materials for over a month. BUT, due to me trying to get the house painted, company, and being sick, I had three days to do them all. By some miracle I actually did finish all of them though they aren't quite up to standards. Here are some pictures from our ward Trunk or Treat. We were Mario, Princess Peach, and Toad. Enjoy!

People go all out decorating their trunks in our ward.
This one had a strobe light so it was even more awesome than this picture shows.

October Visit

Corey's parents came to visit us at the beginning of October and we kept ourselves awfully busy and took about a ZILLION photos. It was a blast despite the day and a half I spent with a horrible fever. These are completely out of order but you get the idea...

Woe is Me

After having recently discovered that, oddly, getting a full night's rest makes me feel great, I decided to make a real effort to get to bed earlier. I have been doing pretty well but tonight, after being so proud of myself for getting to bed extra early, I wake at 3:30am and cannot fall to sleep again. My typical worrying-about-nothing begins again and here I am, nearly 2 hours later, blogging. It seems like a trend with me. I envy all those who fall asleep in seconds and apparently have no trouble staying asleep. This staying asleep business has only been a recent problem for me. I'm frustrated. Woe is me.

The Moment You've All Been Waiting For...Maybe

So I finally got around to taking pictures of our new place and then, after waking up with a massive headache and renewed worries of our long lost video camera, I have now finally taken the time to post these photos. Please remember, our place is still a work in progress. These are "before-ish" photos. Walls are still unpainted (due highly, though not completely, to my inexplicable fear of choosing a color), rooms still undecorated, but progress has been made. Also, I'm no photographer so no judging. Many thanks to all the people who helped us unpack. And a special thanks to my Mom who spent 8 hours or more removing all the wallpaper borders throughout the house. And without further ado...

Master Bedroom

Master again. Though small, we have decent his/hers closet space

Also, what is this color? Gross

Pepto Bismol, 80's fabulous bathroom.
Again, gross. Why?

It's sad how happy that makes us.

Basement...in need of some love. Connor LOVES this tent so I can'tbear to put it away. $25 D.I. couch, futon needs a cover still...oh dear

Basement bathroom. This is your bathroom if you come to visit. ALL yours.

And last but not least...the patio. A Caribbean lady lived here before us so I think that explains the colors out here.
I would have pictures of our yard etc, but as you can see, I was taking these pictures late at night. I suppose I could go take some now but I'm in my pajamas and can't bear to put clothes on just yet. My head still really hurts. I hope you are all satisfied. Once we get things a little more finished I will take some more photos. Despite having woken up under less than ideal circumstances, it sure feels good to get some blogging done.
