Miracle Medicine!

Last night my sweet baby boy slept happily in his very own bed for the first time!! That's right. After much travail, all the poor thing needed was some medicine for reflux. He has been an angel. Yes he still fusses, but he's so much more content. It's like having a new lease on life to have a happier baby. On a sadder note, his growth in happiness corresponds with physical growth. My little baby has grown out of his newborn clothes and into his 0-3 month clothes. He's just growing up way too fast!

If this isn't the cutest face you have ever seen, I don't know what is. Although Connor is still giving me a run for my money, especially at night, he sure is starting to smile a lot and interact a lot more. It's so fun to watch him grow, discover, and explore the world. His new favorite thing is his mobile above his changing table. It mesmerizes him every time. I will have to post a video soon. Connor, we love you!

About Connor

As Connor is getting older and growing bigger everyday I have decided it would be a good idea to write about his progress. I am realizing how quickly things change and I don't want to forget anything. So here is a list about Connor:

-He won't really take a pacifier but he loves sucking on Mom's pinky (and only Mom's) and on his own hands
-If Connor is sucking his thumb, his other fingers are squeezing his cheek and his other hand is holding his thumb in.
-He LOVES taking a bath.
-He has a really strong neck and can hold it up quite well already.
-He is VERY active and can already roll onto his side...is that normal?
-He loves to eat. It's his favorite.
-He has started smiling and it's SUPER cute!
-Connor is now about 10 lbs according to my bathroom scale....HOW DID THAT HAPPEN?!?!
-Connor won't sleep in his own bed. He likes being held, and he likes being held while the holder is standing most of all. He definitely has his parents trained.
-He eats about every 3 hours and is finally starting to sleep for about that long in the night....some nights.
-He is starting to enjoy laying on his back and stomach for short periods of time.
-He likes spending time with mom in his sling while she gets stuff done around the house (and works out her legs while doing squats with a 10 lb. weight on her front!)
-Connor spits up a lot and may be colicky as he seems to have some gas, but he is doing pretty well anyway.
-Connor's Dad is still totally gaga over him and is a big help. Connor loves to lean his head back in his Dad's hand, half asleep, and look up at his dad. So cute!
-Connor snorts when he cries hard but it really breaks his parents' hearts when his cry gets so hard it's silent and his sweet little face gets all red.... :(
-Sometimes Connor looks like an old man when he crinkles his forehead and his hair is all messed up from sleeping on it.
-Connor's signature look is "Blue Steel" from Zoolander with the wide open eyes and pursed lips. Hilarious and adorable.
-His eyes still look dark blue....we are not sure what color they will end up being.
-Connor looks really cute naked...and his dad likes to carry his around that way and stare at the 2 of them in the mirror.

And for now, that's what I love about Connor.
