Annual-ish Tinfoil Dinner Night

We have been inviting friends up Provo Canyon to South Fork Park (my all time favorite park) to enjoy games and tinfoil dinners.  This year we made newspaper boats and raced them down the stream (we did it last year too.)  I think this year we were even more successful than last even though the river was raging!  We are learning.  Our boat actually won this year!  Woot woot! We also made s'mores and played games.  Some of my family came as well.  Some of the Hoopes family came all the way from Wyoming!  They made us feel really special.  My Grandma Harmon came as well, which was excellent!

Connor took a liking to Marissa and followed her around everywhere.  He wanted to play with her every second!

Marissa was very patient and played ball with Connor a lot.

Kyle was on our team for the boat race.  He was a really big help

It's really bright!

Connor wheeled this wagon around all day.  Tommy and Connor are enjoying the water fountain.

Boys know how to make fire.

Candid boat-making shot.  Notice my aunt Jaimelyn in the back there

Look what good craftsmen/engineers I have!

"Nuclewr (nuclear) bomb"  That's Kyle's name for the boat.  He spelled that all by himself.  What a good speller!

Hoopes family boats!

Love it

After the boats raced, ours got a bit water logged, but Connor thought that was fun too!

I love these boys

S'mores faced.  mmmmm....so good!

It's fun that my friends are having kids too.  Connor has buddies!
